Most people have a Paris dream in their hearts, the humanistic sentiments of the Louvre, the romance of the Champs Elysees... It is the French romance that has been precipitated by time. In the eyes of designers, Paris has a variety of styles, but it is far more than a standard coat of classical humanistic style, but more like a vivid presentation of French exquisite lifestyle.
The owner of this project is a director who is engaged in film art. He has his own understanding of aesthetics and hopes to create a happy space for the couple. Therefore, the designer designed this French light luxury modern decoration style for them, making ordinary life full of ritual.
The designer learned about the industry during the design processThe owner is a person who does not like to be restrained, and the rooms he requested are only one master bedroom and one guest room. The rest is open space. Therefore, cleanliness and tidiness are the soul of this project.
In the design of the living room, the designer abandoned the complicated, luxurious decoration and sweet colors highlighted by the traditional French style, and chose an elegant and low-key design to create a modern sense of light luxury. It mainly highlights the symmetrical layout, combined with geometric lines and light space colors, to create a French light luxury space style.
The kitchen adopts an open space design. The practical and beautiful dining table is closely connected with the kitchen to form an open cooking and dining space, and also creates a relaxed and pleasant cooking atmosphere. The entire wall of wine cabinets complements the open space, which not only provides a touch of charm to the decoration of the space, but also highlights the owner's taste.
The owner’s study is another feature of this case. No need for a desk, just a lounge chair to read all day long. The designer encountered a difficulty when designing the study room. After the ceiling was finished, there was still a clear height of 2.8 meters. This height is particularly rare in residential apartments in Hangzhou. Regular bookcases would look particularly stingy when placed at home. Therefore, after obtaining the owner's consent, the designer added European-style brimmed hats and taller bookcases to make the entire space more rigorous.
When duck egg green is paired with goose yellow, a different visual effect is produced. The owner's bedroom changes from the rational color of the front space, making the entire space more lively and interesting. In terms of soft furnishing matching, simplicity is used to highlight the taste, while more flexible accessories are selected to create a light and luxurious French romance. While strengthening the theme style, it also enhances the artistic sense of the space.
Design is different from other art categories in that it puts more emphasis on the client’s life needs. As a designer, Mao Xiaohua never rejects breaking through tradition and boldly innovating. For him, he feels most comfortable abandoning inherent formal concepts, not pretentious, and looking for the design that best suits him.
